I like the art style! But the sprites are too small...when I tried to magnify the sprites and use them in my game, the sprites become very vague. It seems that their sizes are not 512 * 512.
And all the animation sprites are on the same image, which make me difficult distinguish which animations they belong to.
Hi!
The canvas size for every frame is 512x512, so the character is a little smaller.
The sequence of animations is as follows:
idle down (4 frames)
idle down right
idle right
idle up right
idle up
jump down (8 frames)
jump down right
jump right
jump up right
jump up
attack 1 (4 frames)
attack 1 down right
attack 1 right
attack 1 up right
attack 1 up
attack 2 (4 frames)
attack 2 down right
attack 2 right
attack 2 up right
attack 2 up
Incredible! Could you make some top-down buildings?
Thank you, Sorthen!
This will depend on the performance of the assets in this style, as they are not in high demand here.
It seems that developers prefer pixel art.
Ok.
IDK, I prefer this (your) style. But the main issue (for me) is: the style must fit in with other assets to become useful, like a matching gui, tileset. etc. Can you point out own work or work from artists on Itch.io with whose work these spiked enemies can form the base of a game? Your work is really nice, I follow you on Itch.io for this, and when your content in this style is 'lardy' enough to complete a game, I will buy. Cheers, and a happy 2024!
Hi RutgerS!
Thanks for your feedback. I really need to create more content in this style and create a pack. Happy 2024!
